    Responsibilities
    Responsible for Injection Molding activity within the Injection Molding Division (collectively tool maintenance, tool setup, tool operation & tool tear down) and will determine the optimal manufacturing methods and processes for producing injection-molded parts as well as functioning as project coordinator on manufacturing capital improvement projects as assigned. Also responsible for directing a small team of molding associates in the areas of production, scheduling, safety, maintenance and quality.

    Manufacturing Engineers are always looking for better ways of doing a job. They interface with engineering, technology, and manufacturing groups to produce our high-quality products faster, more efficiently and safely, and at lower costs.

    As a Manufacturing Engineer you may be involved in designing new processes or methodologies. Or you may evaluate existing ones and oversee their implementation. You'll be in an ideal position to use hands-on engineering to try out new ideas and track the results.

    We're looking for people who want to explore new ways of solving today's manufacturing challenges. We need people who are; adaptable, looking for exposure to a broad range of projects, eager to progress quickly and are good communicators.
     
    Minimum Requirements
    • Four year Degree or equivalent in technical field; i.e., Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical/Tool Engineering, Industrial Technology.
    • 3-5 years of "engineer level" experience in Manufacturing Engineering including state of the art manufacturing technology/concepts and cost reductions.
    • Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes including; precision plastic injection molding, insert molding, mold construction, prototyping, stampings, assembly, and packaging.
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills
    • Knowledgeable in computers and computer/controller interfaces
    • Must live in Peoria or surrounding area
    • Valid driving license and an acceptable driving record
    • The legal right to work in the United States
